Poland are hopeful that star striker Robert Lewandowski will be fit for their second Group D match at Euro 2024 against Austria on Thursday.

Lewandowski, who is Poland's all-time leading scorer, missed the Netherlands match with a minor injury. However, he has been training with the team this week and is expected to be fit to start against Austria.

Austria will be without Marko Arnautovic, who is suspended for the match. However, they have plenty of other attacking options, including Christoph Baumgartner and Xaver Schlager.

The match is set to be a close encounter, with both teams desperate for a win. Poland will be looking to get their first points on the board, while Austria will be hoping to build on their impressive start.
